The USC Sports Business Association aims to educate and connect students to opportunities in the world of sports business by putting on networking events, speaker series, panel discussions, career workshops, and more. We will inspire members to pursue their passion for sports business while also having fun, developing professionalism, building friendships, and giving back to the community.
SEAN LO - Co-President
Sean is a senior from Taipei, Taiwan studying Business Administration with a minor in Applied Analytics. He has interned for EAG Sports Management and the Los Angeles Clippers doing public relations work as well as sponsorship activations. He has experience in Data Science and is looking to explore how he can utilize these skills in the sports analytics field. This past summer he worked on a telecommunications project with Vodafone's tech consulting department to solve network issues. Although a diehard Lakers fan, Sean is a huge fan of Houston Rockets general manager, Daryl Morey, and wishes to one day do related work in that field. You can probably find him at Cromwell playing pickup soccer on a regular basis.
ALEX YOSHIDA - Co-President
Alex is a junior from Denver, Colorado. He is majoring in Political Science and minoring in Sports Media Industries and Performance Science. He has worked for Like A Pro, a mid-market sports media startup company and Beverly Hills Sports Council, a baseball agency, as a Marketing Intern. He is currently a Communications Intern with Independent Sports and Entertainment. He is also a student worker in the USC Football Recruiting office. In addition to watching his beloved Denver sports teams, Alex is a #PitchersWhoRake enthusiast and knows every single line in the movie Miracle.
NOAH SCHWARTZ - Co-Vice President (Outreach)
Noah is a junior from Westlake Village, California studying Business Administration and minoring in Performance Science. He has been fortunate enough to intern with the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), analyze stats for Nolan Arenado, and work for USC Athletics. He is also the Vice President of his fraternity, AEPi, and founder of the LAFC Wings of Troy, the USC based supporter group of LAFC. If you're looking for him, you can probably find him incessantly watching the Dodgers, Lakers, or Manchester City or playing basketball in the Lyon Center.
ADITYA UPPALA - Co-Vice President (Finance)
Aditya is a senior from Seattle, Washington studying Business Administration with a minor in Applied Analytics. He has worked for the Los Angeles Clippers helping out with game day operations as well as fan relations and has also interned for Amazon as a Financial Analyst. He’s a big fan of the Lakers, Seahawks, and Mariners and hopes to one day be working with analytics in a front office role.
BOBBY EGHBALI - Co-Vice President (Marketing)
Bobby is a senior from San Diego, California studying Business Administration with a minor in Sports Media. Mostly recently, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore. In the past, he has interned with Clearlake Capital Group, The Drew League, Overtime and The Sports Quotient. He is a die-hard Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Cowboys fan and awaiting the day one of his team's returns to the winning days.
JAVI TORRES DE NAVARRA - Director (Marketing & Design)
Javi is a sophomore from Miami, Florida studying Business Administration and double minoring in Sports Media Industries and Applied Analytics. He has worked for the Orange Bowl Committee in the past as a finance intern and is currently interning for SB Nation as a writer and Wasserman Media Group as a communications and marketing intern. He is a huge Miami sports fan who dearly misses Lebron James. You will most likely find Javi playing basketball, as he is a proud member of the Men’s Club Basketball Team.
CALLIE BRUCE - Director (External)
Callie is a sophomore from Champaign, Illinois studying Economics and minoring in Sports Media Studies. In her now four semesters at USC, she has interned with the Sports Information Department of USC Athletics and IPG360, a partnership and naming rights consulting firm in Westwood. She is currently a Marketing Services Intern for the brands team at Wasserman, She’s a big NBA fan, especially after working All-Star Weekend 2018 in Los Angeles. She hopes to attend law school and eventually become general counsel for a professional sports team or league.
DARIO OFFSTEIN - Director (Internal)
Dario is a sophomore from Arcadia, California majoring in Applied and Computational Mathematics and pursuing a career in sports analytics. He works as a Video Operations Intern for USC football and as an Alternative Break Coordinator for the USC Volunteer Center, where he leads a spring break service trip to rural Guatemala. On days he's not watching the Saints or Dodgers, you might find him at your local hiking spot leading a trip for USC's Peaks and Professors.
